NOTIFICATION
In continuation of this University Notification No. LUMHS/ESTT/(E-I)/12461/63, dated 06-09-2010, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro will remain close on Thursday 09th September 2010 on account of "EID-UL-FITER 1431 (H) Holidays".
The clinical faculty members will however continue to provide emergency cover to the Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad/Jamshoro according to their duty roster.

NOTIFICATION
It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro will remain closed on Friday 10th September to Monday 13th September, 2010 on account of "EID-UL-FITER 1431 (H)".
The clinical faculty members will however continue to provide emergency cover to the Liaquat University Hospital , Hyderabad/Jamshoro according to their duty roster.
After Eid-ul-Fiter holidays, this University will observe normal timings with effect from Tuesday 14th September 2010 as follows:
Monday to Thursday : 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (With half an hour break for lunch/prayer at 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm )
Friday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (With one & half hour break for Lunch/Friday Prayer at 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm)

In accordance with the decision of the Government, the Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, will remain close from Friday 10 September 2010 to Monday 13 September 2010 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the meeting of all Vice-Chancellors of the Universities of Sindh held on 18-08-2010 at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro, the following decisions were made to face the short fall of the budget on account of drastic cut in the budget/release of funds by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
- All the appointments from BPS-01 to BPS-20 are hereby frozen for a period of six months or until the budget is balanced.
- No honorarium and no over time shall be paid to the employees of the University during the current financial year.
- Renovation of offices, buildings, roads etc and purchase of items -such as Computers, Air Conditioners etc shall be avoided.

The Vice-Chancellor has been pleased to acceppt the resignation tendered by Ms. Ilmiya Mughal from the post of Director, People's Nursing School with immediate effect.
Dr. Khadim Hussain Lakhair, Campus Administrator, LUMHS, Jamshoro is hereby assigned the duty to look-after the day to day affairs of People's Nursing School, in addition in his own duties, with immediate effect, till further orders.
